Nothing to complain about, I would definitely return here. Everything about this hotel is fine. The property is set in a comfortable and quiet location near to West Drayton railway station, and airport. West Drayton district certainly deserves to be visited. The atmosphere of the hotel is COZY.

Surprisingly quiet and relaxing considering location, close to busy road. All that we would expect at a B& B.
A bit hard to get to from Heathrow airport for unfamiliar visitors in a car, took 3 goes to get off on right lane!

good stay with heartwarming hospitality, was like home with really good breakfast choices
I was touched by the very nice warmth from Patricia and her staff. The breakfast was a dream fest of flavors and choices, everything beautifully prepared. The cozy atmosphere was a bonus.

I arrived within the allotted time for check in which on the confirmation was different to the printed check in times on the hotel door. There was no parking available although the hotel description read that there was plenty of space available. I had to park in a very dodgy car park next door and awoke to find that somebody had broken into the car and cyphoned off the petrol... make sure that you confirm a space in the car park...

The hotel was clean and surprisingly quiet despite being close to the airport. The staff was accommodating, providing us with excellent local dining recommendations, which we really appreciated .
The bathroom amenities were basic, and an upgrade would have added to the experience.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We were stuck in London after the Icelandic volcano erupted, and they were dealing with a lot of stressed-out people with grace and compassion. The full English breakfast is great. The location is on a shopping street where you can get anything you need at reasonable prices not inflated by being near the airport. They were very helpful with instructions for transit and taxis, enabling us to live like locals and economise. We would have stayed there as long as necessary. We stayed in a "premium ensuite twin" with a trundle bed for our 10-year-old. Given that London hotel rooms tend to be small, this room was adequate for our needs.
The neighbourhood around Heathrow is quite polluted so people with respiratory problems might consider staying further out of town.

The communication from Oakwood was very good and quite helpful. They were friendly and offered good advice about the local area.
The facilties were a little older, but not run down. Everything was clean, just not brand new. I was expecting this so it wasn't a dissapointment. It is a good place to stay when transitioning to the airports for cheap.

The place had clean budget-type beds, and the linen was comfy enough for a decent night's rest. I appreciated the breakfast-they kept it basic but adequate, just what I needed before flying out.
On the downside, the exterior gives you a 'why did I book this? ' Vibe, and the carpets inside could really use some serious scrubbing or replacement-as they looked stained and tired. My room lacked windows, leaving it pretty dark and not at all inviting, and I noticed some portacabins in the car park. Not to mention, the dining area looked quite different from the advertised photos, leaving me wondering if I was in the right place.

Cab ride to the airport not overly expensive.
No clock in room, no staff on duty, wide open outside doors.
